But really what gal doesn't love her diamond ( Neal Diamond that is). Adalie got her ears pierced today. She did amazing - she barely cried. The earrings look so cute -

Happy Halloween

Saturday Adalie had her first pumpkin patch experience...come to think of it it was my first pumpkin patch experience too. I could not have asked for a better first experience. My mom and dad joined us along with Aunt Konnie (Jon was working and Rick was hunting). We played with lots of pumpkins and ended up picking the four best in the patch :) . So much fun. The next night Jon, Konnie, Adalie and I carved some mean patterns that are sure to illuminate the way for the poor freezing children brave enough to trick or treat in the snow. Hope everyone has a great Halloween!

Most days I try to focus on the brighter side of life, why spend time focusing on anything but the positive. When one puts a loved pet down, trying to focus on all of the happy memories with the pet makes life that much sadder. My Sandy girl was laid down today and I will miss her greatly, more than I can write in any blog. She is part of my happiness and will forever hold a place in my heart.

We are at home this weekend :)

After traveling for the last few weekends and moving I am glad to say Adalie and I will be home this weekend. Last weekend we were in Salem and Eugene. Sunday, in Eugene, Adalie and I attended Tiffany's beautiful wedding. WOW - talk about a gorgeous wedding and dress. We love you Tiff! **very happy for you***.

Adalie is getting her first two teeth, yes at the same time. How cute is she. The bottom two front teeth are racing through her gums...note to self it is possible for a child not to sleep for 24 hours and no 10 minute naps don't count. It's my own Karma, Monday at work I was talking about how her new tooth wasn't really bothering her...little did I know the next four nights would prove me wrong.

We are moved into our new home - in town!!!! SO HAPPY TO BE IN TOWN!!! I can actually go home for lunch if I want.
