Adalie's Milestones

Adalie is now crawling everywhere and pulling herself up on anything that will support her (and even items that don't). She is so mobile and fast, who knew that a baby could crawl as fast as an adult can run....phew - I'm out of breath just thinking about it. She is now also able to feed herself and kind of gets upset if someone tries to feed her. Holding her own bottle is also new. What determination this little girl has already, she has started scrunching her nose and puckering her lips when trying to master whatever she has set her mind too. Amazingly she usually concurs whatever she has set out to do. Look out world here she comes!

Wings of an angel

The day before Halloween Great Grandma Mary had to say goodbye to this reality. We continue to miss her with all of our hearts and think about her on a daily basis. I believe that beautiful, loving people are put on this earth to show us angels are real and we know that GG Mary is now able to spread her wings. We love and miss you!

More Pumpkin pics :)

Some more pics of the pumpkin patch and also Adalie's best friend Megan who came to visit on Sunday with the other mother Kindra :)....

Also check out Adalie's arm....she now throwing the ball for her other best friend Porter...ye throwing the ball - thank god this girls going to be athletic...I don't know what I'll do if she's not.

Happy Halloween

Saturday Adalie had her first pumpkin patch experience...come to think of it it was my first pumpkin patch experience too. I could not have asked for a better first experience. My mom and dad joined us along with Aunt Konnie (Jon was working and Rick was hunting). We played with lots of pumpkins and ended up picking the four best in the patch :) . So much fun. The next night Jon, Konnie, Adalie and I carved some mean patterns that are sure to illuminate the way for the poor freezing children brave enough to trick or treat in the snow. Hope everyone has a great Halloween!

Sandy Jacobs

Most days I try to focus on the brighter side of life, why spend time focusing on anything but the positive. When one puts a loved pet down, trying to focus on all of the happy memories with the pet makes life that much sadder. My Sandy girl was laid down today and I will miss her greatly, more than I can write in any blog. She is part of my happiness and will forever hold a place in my heart.
